Dr. Brian Van Wagenen offers far more than traditional chiropractic care. With advanced training and a whole-body approach, he helps patients experience pain relief, better energy, improved digestion, allergy relief, balanced hormones, a stronger immune system, and lasting wellness.
Along with precise chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Brian uses Applied Kinesiology muscle testing to pinpoint weaknesses and assess overall body function. He also provides hormone therapy management and personalized nutritional counseling to support complete health.
Many of Dr. Brian’s patients come to him after limited results with other chiropractors. By uncovering hidden issues — such as digestive, liver, or immune system imbalances — he helps patients break through roadblocks and finally achieve the lasting wellness they’ve been seeking.

Personal (In His Own Words)
I grew up in Clovis, California, and at 19 I spent two years serving a mission in Northern England. After returning home, I attended Brigham Young University (where I met my amazing wife, Val — we’ve now been married for 37 years!), finished my undergraduate studies at Fresno State, and earned my chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College.
Val and I have seven incredible kids — Jon, Lauren, Jamie, McKenzie, Jake, Michael, and Julia — and we’re blessed with 10 wonderful grandkids. At home, we share life with three fun-loving dogs — a poodle and two goldendoodles — who keep things lively. We love spending time at the lake, watching movies, traveling, and just being together as a family.
My first experience with chiropractic was truly life-changing. After a painful accident, traditional medicine only brought temporary relief — and even standard chiropractic care didn’t fully solve my problem. It wasn’t until I went to an Applied Kinesiology doctor, who looked at my whole body, that I finally started to get lasting results. Each visit brought me closer to feeling like myself again. That experience inspired me to dedicate my life to helping others find the same kind of relief and joy through natural healing.
I’ve now been in practice for 32 years and still love what I do — my goal is to practice for at least 60 years! I believe the body can heal itself when the right obstacles are removed. That’s why I use a whole-body approach — combining chiropractic adjustments, applied kinesiology, nutritional counseling, and over 17 different therapies and devices designed to help the body heal and reduce inflammation. I also complete 70–100 hours of advanced training every year to stay on the leading edge of natural health care.
I’m proud that three of my sons are currently training to follow in my footsteps and offer the same exceptional level of care to future generations.
Since moving to Roseville in 2007, my patients and this community have become like family to me. My promise is simple: I’ll give you my full attention, skill, and heart to help you reach your best possible health. If you’re ready to feel better, I’m ready to help you get there.
